This is a personal learning guide to obtain knowledge about AWS technologies, this guide aims to certify me in AWS based on the available certifications, in the short term the main objectives are Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect:

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01)

The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) exam requires the knowledge and skills to demonstrate basic knowledge of the AWS platform, such as:

  1. Available services and their common use cases.
  2. AWS Cloud architecture principles (at a conceptual level).
  3. Account security and compliance.

Candidates must also demonstrate an understanding of the AWS cloud economics, such as:

  1. Costs
  2. Billing and analysis.
  3. The AWS Cloud Value Proposition.

With this knowledge, candidates will be able to validate the ability to:

  • Explain the value of AWS Cloud.
  • Understand and explain the AWS Shared Responsibility Model.
  • Understand the best security practices in the AWS cloud.
  • Understand the costs, economics, and billing practices of AWS Cloud.
  • Describe and position the core AWS services, including compute, network, databases, and storage.
  • Identify AWS services for common use cases.
